Reflections on a Good Year

As 2014 comes to a close, we at Philly CowShare are feeling very grateful. We’re honored to be a part of such an amazing community of eaters, farmers and butchers and people who care deeply about sustainable food. The food we eat brings us closer together as we reach for a common goal.

The last year has been pretty incredible for Philly CowShare. We expanded our offerings to include not only grass-fed CowShares, but pastured PigShares, co-hosted a Paleo Cookout at Russet, sponsored events such as the South Philly Rumble and, oh yea, started this blog. And we couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you.

Everyday we’re inspired by those of you who continue to support us with orders, referrals, partnerships, emails, likes and tweets and by visiting our website and our blog. You make what we do not only possible—but worth doing.

This time of year you’re likely preparing to gather round tables near and far with family and friends. So are we. And we’ll be taking some time off to do just that.

Philly CowShare will make its last delivery of 2014 on December 18. Our offices will be closed from December 22, 2014 to January 2, 2015.

We look forward to a great, New Year and to delivering you more ways to eat well, connect with community and support sustainable food.

Philly CowShare connects communities of responsible farmers and butchers with urban communities who simply want to eat well.

We're also a resource for cooking tips and tricks and ways to connect with your community and support sustainable food.
